Privacy Policy

Effective July 23, 2026

Ohmly is designed to perform electrical calculations without collecting personal data. This policy explains what the app and this website do—and, importantly, what they do not do.

Summary

  • No personal data collection. Ohmly does not collect, sell, or share personal information.
  • No tracking or advertising. The app contains no advertising or third-party analytics SDKs.
  • No account required. You can use Ohmly without creating an account or providing an email address.
  • On-device processing. Calculations happen locally on your Apple devices.

Information stored by the app

Ohmly may store your settings, calculation history, labels, and related app preferences locally in Apple-provided app storage and the app’s shared container. This information supports features such as history, widgets, and the Apple Watch companion.

This information is not transmitted to us. It remains under your control on your devices and may be included in your device backups according to your Apple and iCloud settings.

Exports and feedback

When you export a calculation or PDF report, you choose the destination through Apple’s system share sheet. Ohmly does not receive a copy.

If you contact support, your mail app may include the Ohmly version, build number, and iOS version in the message so we can troubleshoot. The message is sent only when you choose to send it. We use support correspondence solely to respond to your request.

Purchases

In-app purchases and subscription management are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. We receive only the entitlement information needed to unlock purchased features; we do not receive your payment card details. Apple’s handling of purchase information is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Website privacy

Ohmlyapp.com is a static website. We do not use analytics, advertising pixels, contact forms, or first-party tracking cookies. Our hosting and network providers may process limited technical request information, such as IP addresses and security logs, to deliver and protect the site under their own privacy terms.

Links to the App Store and other external services take you to third-party websites with their own privacy practices.

Children’s privacy

Ohmly does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users. Because no account or personal profile is created, the app does not request a date of birth or similar identifying information.

Changes to this policy

If Ohmly’s data practices change, this page will be updated before the change takes effect. The effective date above identifies the current version.
