Common questions
How do I calculate voltage, current, resistance, or power?
Open Calculator and enter any two known values. Ohmly calculates the remaining values immediately. Tap a unit label to switch between prefixes such as mA, A, kΩ, and MΩ.
Why is a result unavailable?
Check that two compatible values have been entered and that a divisor such as resistance is greater than zero. Ohmly displays an inline message when the values would produce an undefined result.
How do I restore Ohmly Pro?
Open Settings, choose Unlock Pro, and tap Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple Account that made the original purchase. Apple restores eligible purchases without charging again.
How do I manage a subscription?
Open Settings in Ohmly and choose Manage Subscription, or manage subscriptions from your Apple Account settings. Billing and cancellations are handled by Apple.
Where is calculation history stored?
History and labels are stored locally in Ohmly’s Apple app container. Ohmly has no user account or cloud database, and the developer cannot retrieve deleted history.
How do PDF reports work?
Select saved calculations in History and export a report. Apple’s share sheet lets you save, print, AirDrop, or send the PDF. Ohmly does not receive a copy.
My widget is not updating.
Open Ohmly once after installing or updating, perform and save a calculation, then return to the Home Screen. iOS controls the exact widget refresh schedule.
How do I use the Apple Watch app?
Install Ohmly from the Watch app on iPhone if it is not installed automatically. The Watch companion uses the same core VIRP workflow and shared recent values.
